Daphne & Balee, 2021

Now we are nine.

Somewhere along the way the children became independent enough that four didn't seem like so many. The house grew quiet and empty and I wished I'd had more. Even though my house is emptying, my heart is growing fuller. In another intimate ceremony, my second son joined our family when Daphne and Balee were married on Halloween at Tibble Fork Reservoir.
